Service Advisor
The service advisor will provide excellent customer service by working with customers to determine their vehicle issues and problems, determining the repair timeline, and work with technicians to convey the customers' concerns with accurate repair descriptions. Someone who is highly organized with a good attention to detail is a nice fit for this position. Must have positive attitude, proper phone skills, be able to type and work a computer, work well with others in a group setting, take constructive critisicm and learn from mistakes. No experience necessary but always appreciated.
Qualifications
•Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
•Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant preferred but not necessary
•Above-average energy level

•Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
Responsibilities
•Greeting customers and speaking to them about their vehicle needs
•Consulting with technicians about needed repairs
•Informing customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections
•Scheduling shop work for technicians
•Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
•Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
•Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle
•Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
•Establish follow up time
•Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
•Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
•Explain all completed work and charges to customers
