Toyota of Hattiesburg is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Customer Experience & Appointment Specialist to join our Business Development Center. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position focused on connecting prospective customers with our sales team, building relationships, and scheduling qualified sales appointments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys communicating with people, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by achieving goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming sales leads from phone, internet, text, and other digital channels
• Answer inbound sales calls and assist customers with vehicle inquiries
• Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to prospective and existing customers
• Identify customer needs and provide helpful, accurate information
• Schedule qualified appointments for the Sales Department
• Confirm upcoming appointments and maintain consistent communication with customers
• Follow up with customers who have not yet scheduled or completed a dealership visit
• Follow up after dealership visits to maintain customer relationships and assist with next steps
• Accurately document all customer communication and activity in the dealership CRM
• Work closely with BDC management, Sales Associates, and Sales Managers to maximize appointment opportunities
• Maintain consistent follow-up and meet established performance goals for calls, contacts, appointments, shows, and sales
• Provide a professional, friendly, and positive customer experience during every interaction

Schedule

Monday–Friday | Full-Time

• Ability to communicate effectively through phone, text, and email
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer conversations
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Goal-driven with the ability to work in a performance-based environment
• Automotive experience is helpful but not required

Customer service, call center, appointment setting, inside sales, telemarketing, hospitality, retail sales, or other related experience is a plus.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

One to two years of customer service, sales, call center, telemarketing, or related experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong communication skills, dependability, and a desire to succeed.
